Anne Frankenstein

Learning to DJ in her home town of Dublin at the age of 15, Anne has amassed a deep and diverse knowledge of music digging for vinyl around the world. Anne presented a show for several years on Resonance FM which was renowned a cultural highlight.

Specialising in an eclectic range of Jazz, Funk, Soul, Disco, Latin, Afrobeat and Early Rap, Anne is now spinning at some of the greatest venues across the Capital including The Standard, The Social, Kettners Townhouse and Dandelyan.

Residences include Spiritland and Jazz Café’s legendary Soul City night, as well as exclusive events for creative brands ranging from The Tate to Channel 4.

You can hear Anne weekly on Jazz FM presenting the weekend playlists as well as her specialist music show ‘The Late Lab’ Thursday’s, and ‘Adventures in Sound’ podcast for the BBC folded wing production team.

In addition to Anne’s DJ/Presenter career, she performs with Wah Wah 45s tropical funk outfit ‘The Gene Dudley Group’ which has led her to play festivals such as Boomtown, Green Man, Shambala and Soul Weekender.
